Rescue Care paramedics attended to two separate motor bike accidents this weekend in Durban.
The first was on Friday evening on Musgrave Road before Argyle Road around 17:30. Paramedics arrived to find that a bike and a car had collided leaving the biker with moderate injuries. He was stabilized on the scene before being transported by Rescue Care to a nearby facility. The car driver was not injured in the collision.
On Saturday evening around 9pm Rescue Care paramedics were yet again called to a serious bike accident on the corner of Clark Road and Brand Road in Davenport. Paramedics arrived to find that a bike and a truck had collided in the junction. Rescue Care Paramedics found the seriously injured biker lying on the ground. Advanced Life Support paramedics stabilized the injured male before transporting him to a nearby hospital.
SAPS were present at both of these scenes and will be investigating further.
