Last night, around midnight KZN EMS paramedics in the Uthungulu health district responded to the N2 near Eteza.
There was a collision, between two vehicles, both believed to be trucks, which had apparently collided head on. Sadly one person had sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead by the attending paramedics, while four other patients had sustained serious injuries and were treated by the paramedics who transported the patients to Ngwelezane hospital for continued care.
The police , who were also on scene are investigating the exact cause of the collision.
