Three people were injured after four motor vehicles collided on the N2 south near Sunningdale this afternoon.
Exact detail to the multiple vehicle pile-up is still unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the traffic severely affected as a result of the collision.
Upon assessment of all the occupants of the vehicles, paramedics found that three people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
All the injured patients were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Traffic will remain affected until recovery of the vehicles have taken place and all the collision debris removed from the scene.
