11 people were injured this morning after a taxi and light motor collided at the Northumberland and Olievenhout Road intersection in Johannesburg.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found a light motor vehicle sat in the middle of the intersection while the taxi sat on the side of the road.
The eleven occupants sat around the wrecked taxi, their injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Fortunately none of the patients on scene sustained any serious injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
It is believe that the two vehicles collided, causing the taxi to roll.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
