An accident involving three cars and two trucks closed Spine Road in Westville, Durban yesterday just before 11am.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived to find the whole roadway blocked by badly damaged vehicles. A quick survey was done and it was found that fortunately only two people had sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. Once they had been stabilized they were transported by Rescue Care to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
