A two-year-old-boy tragically drowned in a Kapenta bay pool on the Natal south coast this afternoon. Exact detail as to how the child landed in the pool will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the police search and rescue arrived at the scene and found the child still submerged in the water. After they pulled the boy out paramedics started advanced life support resuscitation and continued for some time. Tragically the child was declared dead at the scene.
