A twenty-three-year-old man is fighting for his life after he was hit by a vehicle in Boshoff Street Pietermaritzburg this evening. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and after the man was placed on a ventilator and skilfully immobilised on a trauma board, they transported him to a local hospital under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic.
