A pedestrian was seriously injured after being knocked over by a motor vehicle on Soutpansberg Road in Queenswood, Pretoria this morning after 07h00.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the seriously injured pedestrian lying on the roadway following the accident.
The seriously injured pedestrian were immobilized on a trauma board, treated on scene and transported to hospital for the urgent medical care required.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident and preceding events.
