A woman was injured following a pedestrian accident on Woodlands Boulevard in Pretorius Park at around 17h00 this afternoon.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene and found the woman sustained moderate injuries after she was knocked over by a motor vehicle while crossing the road.
The woman was treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
