Three people were injured after a minibus overturned on Commissioner Street near Simmonds Street in Marshalls Town this afternoon.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the minibus came to a standstill on its roof in the middle of the intersection.
Upon assessment of all the occupants they found that three people sustained injuries of which one person was in a serious condition.
The injured patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Traffic was severely obstructed until the vehicle was fully recovered from the accident scene.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the rollover and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
