This is it! This year, Joburg’s premiere party rooftop venue Randlords, will send New Year’s Eve partygoers “Back To The Future” as they put forth yet another sunset-to-sunrise party on 31 December 2014. Randlords is one of Joburg’s swankiest rooftop venues, offering revellers no less than five dance areas and bars, against a backdrop of unrivalled views of the City of Gold.
Celebrators can get there early on New Year’s Eve and soak up the last rays of 2014 while overlooking the glittering skyline and sipping on their favourite beverage before the party-masters start spinning top tunes that will take guests through the eras, right into the wee hours of the first morning of 2015.
The “sunset floor” will open at 16h00 with deep house masters, City Soul Addicts bringing a soulful line up of DJs, and will feature guest appearances by musicians, Bongani “The Sessionist” on percussion, and Shamrock on guitar.
Later that evening, the main dance-floor, dubbed the “sunrise floor” will open at 21h00. Local legend Ricardo da Costa and friends, from the Soul Candi Records stable, will elevate the party into the future spinning some of SA’s favourite tunes for every merrymaker to dance and sing along to.
Randlords supports responsible drinking and has partnered with UBER to ensure all celebrators’ safety to and from the event.
