A man was killed this eveing after he was hit by a light motor vehicle on the on the Old Johannesburg Road in Vereeniging.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found the body of the male patient lying in the middle of the road. Unfortunately the man had already succumbed to his severe injuries.
The driver of the vehicle fortunately did not sustain any injuries.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate further.
