An accident on the R61 between Ramsgate and Southbroom has left a man injured after a vehicle overturned.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found the motor vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
Upon assessment of the occupants it was found that one man sustained serious injuries and a second occupant sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The seriously injured man was treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care. The other occupants did not require hospitalization.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
