Two men were killed this afternoon when their truck rolled down an embankment on the R81 70 km outside of Polokwane in Limpopo.
When ER24 paramedics and Rescue services arrived on scene, they found the large truck down a long embankment. It was apparent that the truck had rolled multiple times.
On closer inspecton, paramedics discovered the two lifeless bodies trapped inside the truck. Unfortunately both men had succumbed to their injuries before the arrival of paramedics.
Rescue services had to use the jaws-of-life equipment to free the two trapped bodies.
The cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
