Paramedics from KZN Emergency Medical Services have treated 16 patients after a minibus has overturned.
The paramedics responded to the incident just after 06h00 this morning, which occurred on the N2 at Bhoboza in the Umkhanyakude health district, in northern KZN.
Paramedics treated a total of 16 patients on the scene. Two patients had sustained critical injuries, 12 patients were seriously injured while two patients escaped with minor injuries. The patients once stabilized, were transported to hospitals in the area, including Ngwelezane hospital, for continued medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is being investigated by the police
