Two men were injured following an industrial incident in Pomona AH, Kempton Park this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found that two men were both in a critical condition following the incident. Reports from the scene indicate the two men were inflating a tractor tyre which exploded. Both men were flung through the air and landed between five to ten meters away from the point of impact.
Both men were treated on scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care that they required.
Exact details surrounding the cause of the incident and preceding events are unknown at this stage and will remain the subject of an investigation.
