A four-year-old boy tragically lost his life following a drowning incident in Northdene this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found a family member performing CPR on the young boy after removing him from the pool.
Paramedics took over CPR and continued for an extended period of time but tragically the boy was declared dead at the scene.
Exact detail surrounding the circumstances and preceding events of the drowning incident is still unclear at this stage and will remain the subject of an investigation.
