13 people were injured in a collision between a taxi and a light delivery vehicle in Swayimane, near Wartburg, Pietermaritzburg, earlier today.
Two of these patients sustained critical injuries and others sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
When ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene, they found patients scattered across the grass.
The patients were assessed and treated. They were transported to local hospitals.
Local authorities were on scene.
