A cyclist is in a critical condition following a collision with a motor vehicle on the R25 in Kempton Park this morning.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the patient lying on the road.
The patient was assessed. He was provided with advanced life support and transported to the Tembisa Hospital.
The man in the car was uninjured.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown.
Local authorities were on scene.
