A man has tragically lost his life following an industrial incident this morning in Nuffield, Springs.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the incident and preceding events are still unclear at this stage and will remain the subject of a police investigation. Reports from the scene however indicate that the man was working when a piece of machinery fell right on top of him.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the lifeless body of the man lying on the ground. Upon assessment of the fifty-year-old man, they found that the man had tragically passed away prior to their arrival.
