One person was seriously injured in an accident on the N3 south near the Richmond Road off ramp this afternoon at around12h22. A report from the scene indicates that the car and a truck collided on the south bound lane, exact details however is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with accident debris and the twisted frames of the vehicle causing a severe obstruction, the driver of the vehicle was found to have sustained serious injuries.
After the seriously injured lady was treated at the scene by paramedics they transported her to a local hospital for the care that she required.
