Two people were seriously injured after a car and a taxi collided along the M25 opposite Dube village this morning. A report from the scene indicates that one of the vehicles crossed over the centre median and collided head on with the other vehicle.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway obstructed with the twisted frames of the vehicles and accident debris, one patient was still trapped in the twisted frame of the car. While the rescue officer used the Jaws of Life to free the injured patient medics clambered into the wreckage to stabilise him.
After paramedics stabilised the two patients and deftly immobilised them on trauma boards , they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
