“Dear Arrive Alive Team Thank you for creating awareness about the use of Helmets. I am a brain injury patient (caused by two falls in my bathroom which led to bleeding in the brain). A brain injury is a life changing event which many people do not realise until it is too late.
The way to reduce a risk of head injury, as you correctly stated, is to enforce legislation for helmet use for cyclists (and others such as motor-cyclists). Seat-belt usage is another factor that many people tend to ignore and only slip it on if they see a police car in the distance. Thank you also for creating awareness that 20th March is International Brain Injury Day.
