A woman in her 30 was left in a critical condition after a two vehicle collision at the Trichardt and Ridge Road intersection in Boksburg, Johannesburg East.
ER24 paramedics from the Johannesburg East branch arrived on scene and found the two wrecked vehicles in the middle of the intersection.
On inspection, paramedics discovered a female patient lying in the front of the vehicle in a critical condition.
Paramedics carefully removed the patient from the vehicle and immediately provided her with advanced life support treatment.
Once treated, she was transported to Glynwood Hospital for further medical care.
The driver of the second vehicle fortunately did not sustain any injuries.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
