Thirteen people have been injured in a three vehicle collision this morning on South Coast Road near Kenyon Howden Road Montclair just before 7am this morning.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find that a car, a taxi and a bus had collided in a rear end collision. Passengers from the bus and taxis were found on the side of the roadway with various injuries. More ambulances were called in to assist with the treatment and transport of the injured. Once all of the injured were stabilized on scene they were transported to various Durban Hospitals by Rescue Care for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
