A fifty-four-year-old man was injured following a motorcycle accident on Great North Road in Bonaero Park, Kempton Park this afternoon.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events are still unclear at this stage and will remain the subject of an investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist lying in a wetland area after the motorcycle left the roadway.
Upon assessment they found that the man had sustained serious injuries during the accident and after receiving treatment at the scene, the injured man was transported to hospital for further medical care.
