A body of a man in his 40s was found after it washed up on the beach near a casino in Durban, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics from the Durban branch were called to the scene after a member of public spotted the body floating in the shallow water.
On assessment, paramedics found that the man showed no signs of life. Unfortunately there was nothing more that could be done for the patient and he was declared dead.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate further.
