Seven people were injured in a collision on the N12 West before the Tom Jones exit, Benoni, this afternoon.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found three vehicles that were badly damaged.
A bakkie, light delivery vehicle and a car were involved. The patients were walking around and lying down on an embankment next the the vehicles.
The patients, men and women between early 20’s and 62 years of age, were assessed. They sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
