Nine people have been injured after two vehicles collided on Saturday afternoon on the bridge on the M1 over the N2.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on scene to find the two badly damaged vehicles in the junction. A quick assessment revealed that nine people had been injured from both vehicles two seriously so. More ambulances were called to assist with the number of injuries. Advanced Life Support paramedics assisted in stabilizing the two seriously injured patients before all nine patients were transported to various hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however it is alleged that one vehicle turned in front of the other vehicle causing a T Bone collision.
