Three people have been injured, one seriously so after two vehicles collided just after 6am this morning at the M7 and Wakesleigh Road junction.
Rescue Care paramedics arrived on the scene to find the two badly damaged vehicles in the roadway. A quick assessment revealed that three people from both vehicles had been injured. Advanced Life Support paramedics stabilized the seriously injured driver on the scene before all three of the injured were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
