A female has tragically died in an accident along the M7 east bound near the North Park off ramp this morning. A report from the scene indicates that the car was traveling towards Pinetown when it veered into the Durban bound lane and landed in front of a petrol tanker.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that after the truck had collided with the car they went through a barrier, up an embankment ,the wreckages coming to rest about a metre from a thirty meter drop off into a house.
The driver of the vehicle was ejected from the wreckage and was found in the bush several meters away, tragically she died on impact due to the extensive injuries that she sustained.
