A thirty – seven – year – old female sustained serious injuries after she was hit by a bakkie along Ocean Way in Umhlanga Rocks this afternoon at around 16h50. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the injured woman on the ground . After medics treated her at the scene, they transported the patient to a local hospital for the care that she required.
