A collision occured early this afternoon on the N14 close to Malibongwe Drive in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
ER24 paramedics came across the scene and immediately responded. The collision involved one car which seems to have lost control and drove over the barrier of the road landing in a nearby field. One person was killed in the collision and three others were injured.
Amongst the injuries was two moderate injuries and one critical patient. ER24 paramedics treated the critical patient who was then airlifted by another service to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The other two moderately injured patients were also transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The cause of the collision remains unknown.
