Three people sustained minor injuries this morning when a truck collided with a light motor vehicle on the N12 in Carletonville.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found a large truck lying on its side in the veld. A light motor vehicle sat in the slow lane of the road. The front of the vehicle had been completely ripped off in the collision.
On assessment, paramedics discovered that two occupants from the truck and one from the light motor vehicle had sustained only minor injuries in the collision.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to Carletonville Hospital for further observations.
The cause of the collision is being investigated by local authorities.
