A twenty three year old female is lucky to have sustained minor injuries only following a high speed collision on the notorious Umhlanga Rocks Drive this afternoon (2015/05/08).
Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on scene to find a light motor vehicle had collided at high speed with a street lamp. The driver, a young twenty three year old female, sustained minor soft tissue injuries only and was assessed on scene before being taken through to hospital for further care.
Bystanders allege that it appeared as though the driver lost control as the vehicle came around a bend, causing her to collide with the lamp pole however the exact details are unclear and the necessary authorities will investigate.
