One person has been treated for smoke inhalation this afternoon after her house caught alight in Goble Road around 1pm.
Rescue Care Paramedics and Durban Fire Department were called to the house which was well alight. Fire Fighters fought the blaze whilst paramedics treated the owner of the house for smoke inhalation. The road was closed between Percy Osborne and Umgeni Road whilst emergency personal worked to extinguish the fire.
At this stage it is unclear what caused the fire however the necessary authorities were on the scene and will be investigating further.
