A biker was seriously injured in a motorbike accident at the intersection of Seadoone Road and the N2 north onramp this afternoon at around 13h00. A report from the scene indicate that the biker was traveling along Seadoone Road when a vehicle crossed his lane to turn onto the highway, exact detail however will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the fire department arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the side of the roadway. After they stabilised the patient they transported him to a local hospital for the care that he required.
