Paramedics and emergency services have responded to the Ndwedwe main road, where a minibus was involved in a crash, earlier today.
A total of 15 patients were injured in the crash, which occurred after 11h00 this morning. One of the patients was critically injured in the crash and the KZN Health Department’s EMS helicopter was used to airlift this patient to hospital. The remaining patients, were stabilised at the scene before being transported to hospital by paramedics from various ambulance services.
The exact cause of the crash is not known at this stage and is being investigated by the police.
