Eleven people were injured in a side impact accident along the M25 at the n2 on and off ramps. A report from the scene indicates that a vehicle came down the off ramp from the N2, collided with the taxi in the intersection causing it to overturn.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the fire services arrived at the scene and found the wreckage of the taxi lying across the intersection, the patients were found on the centre median. After triaging the injured, it was found that the driver had sustained critical injuries, three people were in a serious condition while seven people escaped with minor injuries.
After the paramedics treated the injured at the scene, they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
