South Coast hotel fire leaves three transported to hospital

Six people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a hotel in St Michaels this morning. Exact detail to the cause of the fire is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.

Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene at around 06h59 and found the fire department busy fighting the fire. Medics treated six people at the scene for smoke inhalation, only three of the patients were transported to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
