Yesterday, 23 June 2015, a 42-year-old female suspect was arrested on 3 charges for the contravention of the Medicine Act.
This came about after the Kamesh Crime Prevention members applied for a search warrant to search a house in Rosedale, Uitenhage. Upon searching the house, members found 1377 pain tablets in the house. Members also seized 80 mandrax tablets, 25 packets of Tik, 102 “bompies” dagga.
The estimated street value of the drugs are R21 040. The suspect will appear in Uitenhage Magistrates court today.
