A man is in a critical condition following a motorcycle accident on the N1 near Beyers Naude Drive in Fairland, Johannesburg this morning.
Netcare 911 crew members travelling on the N1 witness a motorcyclist coming off his motorcycle on the N1 and landing on the roadway.
Upon assessment of the forty-five-year-old man, paramedics found that he was in a critical condition. The man was treated at the scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care he required, under the care of an advanced life support paramedic.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the motorcycle crash and preceding events are unclear and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
