A woman was injured following a single vehicle accident on the N2 south bound by Umgababa on the Kwa-Zulu Natal south coast this afternoon.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found a motor vehicle had overturned several times and came to a standstill on the field area next to the roadway.
Upon assessment of the woman, believed to be in her fifties, paramedics found that the woman had sustained serious injuries during the rollover accident.
The injured woman was treated at the scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the rollover accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
