Twelve commuters have been left with minor to moderate injuries in a collision between two mini bus taxis on the M25 Kwamashu Highway this morning.
Crisis Medical paramedics arrived on the scene just before the N2 bridge to find the injured still freeing themselves from the vehicles.
An on scene triage was done and twelve commuters were treated for minor to moderate injuries before being taken by ambulance to various nearby receiving medical facilities for further assessment.
Traffic was severely obstructed and Metro Police were on hand to assist.
The cause of the incident and facts surrounding it are unclear. Local authorities will investigate further.
