A six – year – old School girl is in a critical condition after she was hit by a car along Moorcross Road in Chatsworth this morning just after 07h30. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the child dressed in a school uniform lying on the roadway with life threatening injuries. Paramedics worked fervently to stabilise the critically wounded girl at the scene and after immobilising her on a trauma board, they transported her to a local hospital under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic.
