Early morning smashes leave one injured in Durban

One person has been left injured after a spree of accidents early Saturday morning.

In one incident a man in his early thirties sustained minor injuries only after he lost control of his bakkie, causing it to flip, on the R102 near Veralum. He was treated on scene and later refused hospital transportation.

In another incident a light motor vehicle struck a pole on North Coast Road near to the bank. Despite considerable damage to both the vehicle and the surrounding infrastructure, the driver was unharmed. He was assessed on scene by Crisis Medical paramedics and refused further treatment.
