Harrismith Highway Patrol members, Warrant Officer Steenkamp and Sibeko were on the N3 on Saturday night when they stopped a suspicious Toyota Corolla sedan with three occupants.
Upon their search they found 21 plastic bags containing loose dagga to estimated street value of R73 000-00.
They arrested three suspects who were heading to Gauteng province. A case of possession of dagga is being investigated.
The three are expected to appear in Harrismith Magistrates court today.
