A man in his fifties is in a critical condition after he sustained burns at an industrial site in Spartan on the East Rand this afternoon. Exact detail to the cause of the incident is still speculative and will remain a subject for investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man to have sustained life threatening injuries. After he was placed on a ventilator , they airlifted the man to a specialised hospital for the specialised care that he required.
