Akasia Bike accident leaves two critically injured

Two people were critically injured yesterday after a motorbike collided into the side of a taxi along Brits Road in Akasia Pretoria at around 19h53. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.

Netcare 911 and the Provincial paramedics arrived at the scene and found two people lying on the roadway with life threatening injuries. After the patients were stabilised at the scene , they airlifted the one with the Netcare helicopter while the other patient was transported by ambulance to a specialised facility under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic.
