Two injured as vehicle plunges down embankment on the M13

Two people were injured this evening after a light motor vehicle plunged 30 metres down an embankment on the M13 in Fields Hill near Pinetown in KwaZulu Natal.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on scene to find the light motor vehicle lying 30 metres down a large embankment.

Paramedics and rescue services, using specialised rescue equipment, made their way down the embankment to the vehicle.

On assessment, two patients, a male and female, were discovered in the vehicle. Fortunately the patients had escaped serious injury.
